Mad Artwork are back on track and accelerate fast as hell.

We’re currently rehearsing and writing new material for the gigs during the spring. The first gig will be the first grade of Musikdirekt.

The website is under construction, the media site is new and we will soon have a new guestbook. So hopefully we will update the site more often and fill the epic side of your brain with new wonderful, creative, mad… Things!

We have now established a cooperation together with Ale Carr that won first prize in Musikdirekt 2007 together with Mad Artwork.

We have also a realatively new line up of the band:

Anders Lindh – Drums

Ale Carr – Irish Bouzouki

So cheers to the new Mad Artwork members, Anton Dromberg and John Berglund and happy greetings to the cooperation together with Ale Carr, we hope that these guys presence in Mad Artwork will be long and nourishing to the music and our success!

By the way, the wonderful artist Theresé Hammar that have made Mad Artwork’s logotypes will have a vernissage at Hugos café in Uppsala 14th of march! Free entrance so be there!

Hello all of you, who loyaly waits for us to “ta oss i kragen” and update the website with fresh information and apetizers. So, what has happened the last 5 months since the last update?

We have to announce that after our guestappearence at the final of the competition “Musik Direkt” – 08, in Kalmar, our dear friend and keyboard player Benjamin Olsson unfortunately decided that this wasn’t his kind of music and therefore left the band. We wish him all luck in the future!

Some other news is that Anders has moved from Uppsala to study music at the school Sjövik in Avesta.

But there’s nothing that can stop us – during the summer we’ve began to record our debut album! We can’t say when it will be finished, everything is delayed as always. Of course we’re doing everything we can to finish it as soon as possible.

The big news right now is that we’re looking for a new keyboard player so we can be able to record the keyboards on our upcoming cd and also so that we can start to create new art. Please send us an e-mail if you’re interested!

Uppsala Progressive Rock Festival has booked us for next summers festival! We will give you the exact date for the show during spring. So keep your ears and eyes open!
